Breaking Design Myths

It is known that there are a lot of myths surrounding Interior Design in general, from the economic point of view, differences in styles, and how big “should” your budget be…
But we will focus on the one we care more about: The Interior Designer makes all the decisions.
Long story short, it’s a lie… at least with the good interior designers!
Why is that?
First, the client’s selection should be based on their feeling about the Interior Designer’s styles and results. The client goes to the Designer. So, this gives the client the first big advantage and power over the relationship.
Second, why would you hire somebody who would reject your ideas and impose their word over yours? There is a distinct line between counseling based on expertise and invalidating your ideas for YOUR home.
A good Interior Designer will help you interpret your vision and materialise it without compromising your ideas, based on their expertise and experience. The Interior Designer will provide tools and advice on better executing your vision. But that’s not their only job; an Interior Designer is also in charge of managing the project, scheduling providers and contractors, and, above all, making sure your project comes true.
Now, there are good Interior Designers and there are great Interior Designers, and Rebecca is one of the greatest! She will take care of you, will accompany you throughout the project, and will make sure you have a good experience, which can be a very stressful time.
